Plumbing & heating in Bellingham
Right on the Rhode Island line, half subdivision and half open country.
Bellingham sits directly on the Rhode Island line, which makes it a shorter run for us than a good deal of Massachusetts is. It is a genuine mix — subdivisions along the Route 126 spine, older houses on the back roads, and enough property on a private well to make that a normal part of the first conversation.
Where there is a well, the water decides how long a heater lasts. Hardness and sediment shorten it considerably, and filtration fitted at the same time as a replacement costs a fraction of what it costs as a second visit six months later.
On town water the work is ordinary — heating, water heaters, fixtures — and the housing is generally new enough that access is not a fight.
