Plumbing & heating in Coventry
Mill villages along the Pawtuxet at one end, open country and private wells at the other.
Coventry is the largest town in Rhode Island by area and it changes character completely from one end to the other. The eastern end, around Anthony and Washington, is mill village housing on the Pawtuxet — dense, close to the road, and built for people who worked within walking distance of it.
Head west and the lots get large, the houses get further apart, and a great many of them are on a private well rather than town water. That changes the job. Hardness and sediment are hard on a water heater, and a pressure complaint out here is as likely to be the pump or the pressure tank as anything inside the house — which is worth establishing before anyone starts opening walls.
It is the longest run we make into Kent County, so it is worth grouping work into a single visit where the job allows it.
